Mount Benson Elementary School PAC does a budget for Each School Year

Sinking and Allocated Funds

At the start of the 2007/2008 the Mount Benson PAC had the following funds which have been allocated in previous years to be spent on specific projects.

Playground 1 Fund	1,400.00	Fund raised. For new equipment or repair and maintenance of existing equipment.
Emergency Preparedness Fund	4,000.00	Fund raised. Interest goes to new supplies. Principal can be spent on food/supplies in a real emergency or earthquake.
Bursary Fund	7,000.00	Fund raised. Interest to fund bursary.
Playground 2 Fund	5,000.00	Gaming. Use for new equipment, ideally with matching grants.

Equipment Purchased by the PAC

All equipment purchased by the PAC is PAC property. PAC property should remain at the school and should not be loaned out or moved to other schools or PACs without PAC permission. If some PAC equipment is no longer required, the PAC can sell or donate the equipment to another PAC or group at the PAC's discretion.

School Closure Budget Changes

Due to the school closure in June of 2008, the PAC had to modify the budget and reallocate funds. Information on the school closure driven 2007/2008 PAC budget changes is available here.
